Students

Student supervision has been an important part of my academic work throughout my career. I have supervised master's theses, undergraduate graduation projects, and senior design projects in a wide range of areas including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Distributed Systems, Embedded Systems, and related Computer Engineering topics.

Recent student projects increasingly focus on Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, including computer vision, Large Language Models, intelligent decision-support systems, healthcare applications, and industrial AI.

Student Research and Project Supervision

I encourage students to work on problems that combine strong engineering foundations with practical implementation. Recent projects typically involve the complete development cycle—from problem definition and system design to model development, software implementation, experimentation, evaluation, and technical reporting.

Selected undergraduate projects have also developed into conference papers, preprints, datasets, and research prototypes.
