8051-Based Development Board and Teaching Set

8051-Based Development Board and Teaching Set
This page preserves some of the hardware implementations and educational applications developed around the 8051 material presented in Mikroişlemciler ve 8051 Ailesi: Donanım, Programlama ve Uygulamalar. It is retained as a historical record of how the development-board design and related examples were used in technical education.

Abdullah Neyse, then Head of the Computer Department at Zeytinburnu Endüstri Meslek Lisesi, visited me several times at TÜBİTAK-UEKAE in Gebze and also contacted me on many occasions to discuss the 8051 development board presented in the book. We also had several valuable conversations concerning broader educational issues.
He designed the PCB shown below, built and tested the board, reproduced several copies, and used them with students at his school. The board was also used to teach the fundamental concepts behind microcontroller-based system development.
Abdullah Neyse's Remarks

PCB Design
The PCB was designed as a two-sided board with an intentionally straightforward layout so that students could reproduce it more easily in an educational environment. The images below preserve the component placement and the two PCB sides used in that implementation.

Historical Note
These photographs and PCB images are preserved here as part of the educational history of the book and its practical use in microcontroller teaching. They show how the hardware examples presented in the book were reproduced and adapted for hands-on technical education.
