Projects will be done in teams of 2-3 people. Each group will first propose a project topic that will require research and/or development effort. After this step, each project team will start working on the project.

Initial part of the work may involve doing a literature survey. The rest of the work may involve proposing a solution to the problem proposed,  designing and implementing a system,  doing performance analysis of the solution; performing simulations to evaluate the work;  deriving results and conclusions. Each group will write a (term) paper about their work and findings.

The papers will be presented to the class-members towards the end of the term. A team is also responsible to give a demo if they worked on a real-implementation.

Look at the wireless projects page. You have to choose one of the projects listed in this page or you can bring your own project to me to get my approval.

You can use the projects list given here from the www.sourceforge.net to find more project ideas.

Since each project team (2 or 3 person team) will work on a different project, the projects listed in the projects page will be given to the teams according to first-come first-served principle.
